Is it possible to come back to work after a root canal?
Root canal?
Yes. Take some Ibuprofin before your appointment. Perscription strength is 800 mg. so check the bottle you have, most are 200mg so you would take 4 of them. After your appointment if you are still uncomfortable, your doctor can perscribe you something. If it is infected, he may give you an antibiotic which will help with any swelling. Good Luck!
Reply:I had a root canal about 2 months ago. Though the pain wasn't to bad after the anesthesia wore off, it was uncomfortable and a little swollen until the next day.
Good luck
Reply:It's fine to go back to work after a root canal. Nothing should prevent from it.
Reply:i can't remember.. i had one when i was like 15....unless they give you an iv then you can prob go back to work
Reply:you really won't even know you had a root canal. for one you'll be numb for a couple more hours. also, you'll have pain medicine just in case you get some soreness.
root canals aren't anything like they used to be so don't worry.
Reply:yep i had three and only one of them was hurting afterwards but nothing that ibuprofen or advil can't take care of!
Reply:I just had a root canal last week, and it was pain free (during and after).
