Root canal?

Ok, I just got one done on one of my front top teeth on Friday...It still hurts. It hurts to move my top lip, to sneeze, and to even touch the inside of my nose...What can I do to stop the pain and how long will this last? Plus, I try to blow my nose and it bleeds...

Root canal?
Pain is not uncommon for the first few days, and your dentist or endodontist should have presribed over-the-counter meds, such as Tylenol or Ibuprofen; if these do not manage the pain, or if bleeding is heavy or continues, call the dentist. An ice pack may help, and you can try special toothpaste for sensitive teeth, such as Sensodyne. I hope that you feel better soon.
Reply:Possible Dry Socket or infection...CALL THE DENTIST ASAP
Reply:Ouch!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:You should call the dentist and let them know just to be sure. But some of the anterior maxillary (upper) teeth extend close if not into the sinus cavity, this could cause pain and bleeding when you blow your nose. But do follow up with your DDS to be sure.

Hope you feel better.
Reply:well its not suppose to do it that I'm pretty sure you should call your dentist office and see if its always like that but I'm pretty sure that its not suppose to do that
Reply:seee your dentist
Reply:If the tooth was infected, it very well could be the residual infection. You would need to get antibiotics to get rid of it. In the meantime, take ibuprofen and use Listerine to rinse it often.
