how much is the typical root canal? and how about a new fake tooth (crown ect)?

mine have been $800 for the root canal and $800 for the crown (gold is less than ceramic)





I would also caution you, prices are different from town to town and state to state..so call different places and ask for their prices.
Reply:Fees vary with zip code. Also, is it an anterior, bicuspid or molar root canal? Fees will vary depending on which tooth it is. Crowns fees will also vary by zip code. Do you have dental insurance? If so, get the specific ADA/CDT codes for the root canal, build up/post and core and type of crown. Then talk with your insurance carrier. They can tell you what the fees are as they set the fees the in network doctor can charge. If you go out of network for your insurance, you will be responsible for any/all amount over the insurance payment. This can add quite a bit to your portion.
Reply:It depends if you have dental insurance. Check with your dental insurance provider. If you don't have any, you may check with your dentist.
Reply:in Philippines, 1 canal cost 3000pesos or about $75 each. it depends if the tooth is a molar or a incisor.. molar have 3-4 canals.. the crown cost about 2000pesos or $50.
