if you're really worried about it, just call and ask your dentist.
Reply:You will never have a tube down your throat or be truly put to sleep in a dental office. When you get put to sleep at the dentist, all that's really happening is that you're put into another state of consciousness. You are still awake, just unaware of what's going on. So there's no need to worry about tubes or such in your throat.
