Apparently I need a root canal. (If I hurry! If I procrastinate, I may need an extraction!)
I am between jobs and do not have income or insurance right now. I have roughly enough to cover a typical root canal in savings ($1200-ish), but that will leave me with ABSOLUTELY no "safety net" money. Although I'm scared to spend all of my money, I am also afraid to try and "cust corners" on my health. After all, they are the only teeth I'll ever have!
Does anyone know any details about discount dental work from Baylor College of Dentistry? Or can you recommend a cost-effective but good quality dentist who does root canals?

I have not been to the school but, I have a friend who has! She said that they work with you on the money issue! The dental work done there is wonderful!!!

Reply:I know of a way you can take the bite out of that price. I found this while searching for some type of way to save money going to the dentist. I save my self $214 off a $465.00 bill. For root canals would cost you around $375 to $425.00 I think.
