Root canal?

I just had one and I still feel pain in my nerve. Aren't they supposed to take the nerve out. My dentist is always so busy, I didn't get to talk to him after my surgery. He hasn't sapped the tooth yet. Should I ask him to see an xray. I should not have to pay for a root canal if I still feel pain. Is it possible that I may have to live with this pain?

Root canal?
endeavouring root canal treatment is to save your tooth and at the same time to make you comfortable.pain may exists from spread of inflammation to surrounding areas.however your dentist should have apprised you everything beforehead so that you dont feel insecured
Reply:No, you will not have to live with the pain. Most likely there is some infection around the wound. Antibiotics should take care of it. Definitely get it taken care of before the tooth is capped.
